Absinthe, aka The Green Fairy is an alcohol I’ve been aware of since seeing it in a movie… I believe it was Euro Trip then again in Alfie. I’m highly intrigued by it – mostly because while I know it’s not the hallucinogenic that it is often portrayed as in the movies, I have heard from people that it does create for an interesting sensation due to it’s high alcohol content.

So I’m very interested in experiencing it for myself. I’d probably also need to find someone who knows Absinthe well in order to teach me the proper way to prepare it. Based on what I’ve seen, it does seem very much like some kind of addictive drug, so I’d want to make sure I did it right. When I do get a chance to experience it, I’ll obviously report back along with plenty of pictures on how to prepare it properly!
